JUNIOR'S TROPHY DAY
Jason Carpenter (Caloundra RSL Memorial) won the Male Singles Title with James Copeland (Kawana) Runner up.
In the girls Championship, Cassie Caruana (Kawana) lined up to play Jamie O'Brien (Caloundra RSL Memorial) in the final. The girls fought it out with the younger player Jamie O'Brien taking the honours.
In the Novice District Boys Singles, two up and coming players Cameron Whitbread-Page (Maroochydore Beach) played against Oliver Downs (Maroochy Swan). Cameron, who played Pennants this year for his club was, too good for Oliver, who just couldn't handle the lightening quick green.
The girls Novice Singles saw sisters Connie-Leigh Rixon (Maroochy Swan) go head to head with her younger sister Rebecca. (Maroochy Swan) The concentration on both of these girls was fairly intense and quite bemusing seeing Rebecca is the tender age of 8. Rebecca commenced a late comeback towards the last half of the game but her sister prevailed to pick up the win.
